Is a Discount Broker Worth It for New Traders?
I've been diving into trading lately and I keep seeing mentions of discount brokers everywhere. I get the appeal of lower fees, but I'm curious about the downsides. For those of you who have made the switch, do you feel like you’re missing out on any important features or support that full-service brokers offer?
I’ve heard some horror stories about customer service and technical issues, which makes me a bit hesitant. If you've had experience with a discount broker, I'd love to hear about your thoughts—have they been a good fit for your trading style? Any particular ones you recommend or would steer clear of? Thanks!

I switched to a discount broker a few months ago and it’s been mostly good, but I've definitely noticed the lack of support compared to my old full-service broker. I miss having someone to help with complex trades or market advice. The fees are way lower, though, and I’ve learned a lot by doing my own research. Just make sure you're comfortable navigating things on your own!
