Are Floor Traders Still Relevant in Todays Market?
I've been diving into trading lately and came across the term "floor trader." It got me thinking—do people still rely on floor traders with everything being digital now? I know there’s a lot more automated trading happening, but I’ve also read that there are advantages to having a human presence on the trading floor.
For those of you who have experience or knowledge in this area, do you think floor trading is still a valuable strategy? Or has it become a relic of the past? I'm curious about how it compares with the fast-paced online environment we have today. Any insights or personal experiences would be awesome!

I think floor traders still have some relevance, especially when it comes to making quick decisions based on human intuition. While automation is great for high-speed trades, nothing beats the ability to read the crowd and react in real-time. Plus, in volatile markets, having a trader who can think on their feet could really make a difference. It’s definitely not a relic yet!
