Is investing in junk bonds worth the risk?

I've been hearing a lot about junk bonds lately and I’m really torn. On one hand, the high yields sound super tempting, but on the other, there’s that looming risk of default. I’ve read some success stories about people banking big on the right picks, but I can't shake the anxiety about the possibility of losing it all. Has anyone here dabbled in junk bonds? What’s been your experience? Are there specific strategies or signs you look for to mitigate the risk? Any advice would be appreciated!
