How Do You Handle Tax Losses?

I've been thinking a lot about tax loss harvesting lately, and I’m curious how others manage it. Last year, I had a few trades that didn’t go as planned, and while it stung to see those losses, I've heard they can actually help reduce my tax burden a bit. Do you guys actively look for ways to offset gains with those losses?

I’ve read that you can sell losing positions to realize the losses and then use them to offset any gains you have. Is it really worth the effort? Also, how do you avoid the wash sale rule if you decide to jump back in after selling? Would love to hear your thoughts and any strategies you’ve found helpful!
