Is Board Stock Worth the Investment?

Hey everyone, I've been hearing a lot about board stocks lately, and I’m curious about what you all think. I know they’re typically lower in volatility, which sounds nice for a steady investment, but I’m wondering if they’re really worth it in the long run. Have any of you had success with board stocks, or do you feel they just take up space in a portfolio that could be used for more aggressive plays?
