Is the UN PRI Worth the Hype for Sustainable Investing?

I've been hearing a lot about the UN PRI lately, especially in discussions around sustainable investing. I’m curious if anyone here has taken the plunge and signed on? It sounds great in theory—aligning portfolios with responsible practices—but I wonder how it works in practice.

Do you think it actually leads to better investment decisions, or is it more of a marketing tool? I’d love to hear about your experiences or thoughts on whether the commitment to responsible investing has made a noticeable impact on your portfolios. Is it just another layer of compliance, or can it genuinely lead to positive change in the industry? Looking forward to hearing from you all!

I signed on to the UN PRI a while back, and I definitely think it’s more than just a marketing tool. It pushed me to rethink my investment strategy and actually consider ESG factors in my decisions. The reporting and frameworks can feel like extra work, but it's made me more accountable. Plus, I've noticed some positive changes in my portfolio performance related to sustainable companies. It might not be a magic solution, but it does inspire real action!
