Is anyone using Neural Networks for trading strategies?

I've been diving into neural networks lately and I'm curious how they're actually working for those of you who’ve implemented them in your trading. I see a lot of buzz in forums and articles about their potential to predict market movements, but I’m unsure if it’s just hype or if there's real substance to it.

Have any of you used neural networks for algo trading or predictions? What platforms or tools are you finding most useful? I’d love to hear about both successes and any struggles you might have faced. I'm at a point where I'm considering jumping in, but I want to make sure it’s not just a black box that spits out random results. Any personal experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've been experimenting with neural networks for trading and they definitely have potential, but it’s a steep learning curve. I mainly use TensorFlow and some libraries specific to finance like Keras. One thing I’ve struggled with is overfitting—it's easy to get caught up in perfecting the model for historical data. It works well sometimes, but I’ve definitely seen it fail too. It’s not a magic solution, but when combined with other strategies, it can add value. Just keep expectations realistic!
