Is Tracking Stock Worth the Hype?
I've been hearing a lot about tracking stocks lately and I'm torn. On one hand, they seem like a cool way for companies to raise capital while letting investors get a piece of a specific part of the business without giving up ownership. But then again, I’ve heard mixed opinions about their actual performance and the risks involved.
Have any of you traded tracking stocks before? How did your experience go? Do you think they’re a smart investment or just a gimmick to lure in naive traders?
