Whats Your Take on Setting a Target Price?

I've been trading for a little while now, and I'm really curious about how everyone else approaches setting target prices for their trades. Do you guys have a specific strategy you follow, or is it more of a gut feeling based on market conditions? I find myself sometimes just pulling numbers out of thin air, but I know that can't be the best way to do it. Also, how do you adjust your targets when the market starts moving unexpectedly? I feel like I'm missing a piece of the puzzle here. Would love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have!
