What do you all think about using Book Value when analyzing stocks?

I've been diving into some investment research lately, and I keep coming across the term "book value." It seems like a lot of traders weigh it heavily in their decisions, but I’m a bit torn. On one hand, it gives a solid baseline comparison, especially for value stocks. On the other, I wonder if it’s becoming less relevant with companies holding more intangible assets nowadays. Do you guys factor it into your trading strategy? Have you found it to be a reliable indicator, or do you think it’s just one piece of the puzzle? Would love to hear your thoughts and any experiences you've had!
