Is Going Self Directed the Right Move for Me?
I've been trading for a little while now and I'm considering going self-directed. I like the idea of having full control over my investments and strategies, but I'm also a bit nervous about doing it all on my own. For those of you who have made the switch, what have been your experiences? Is it as freeing as it sounds or do you find yourself missing the guidance from a financial advisor? How do you manage the research and decision-making process? Any tips or pitfalls to look out for? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Going self-directed can be super rewarding! You get to make your own calls, which feels empowering. But I agree, it can get overwhelming without an advisor. Do your homework—understand your investments and keep a close eye on the market. I found it helpful to set a schedule for research and stick to it. Just be prepared to learn from your mistakes because there will be some!
