Is Being Tax Efficient Really Worth the Effort?

I've been diving into ways to make my trading more tax efficient, but honestly, it feels overwhelming. I know there are strategies out there that can help minimize what I owe come tax season, but I'm curious how many of you actually take the time to implement them. Do you use specific accounts or investment types that make things easier? I’ve heard about using IRAs or 401(k)s, but I'm not sure if the extra paperwork is worth it.

Also, have any of you ever worked with a tax professional for this? Was it helpful, or did you find it easier to handle on your own? Just looking for some real experiences here—curious if the effort pays off in the long run!
