What does being a Land Steward really mean to you?

I've been really interested in the whole concept of land stewardship lately, especially with all the changes happening around us. It seems like there’s a growing movement toward sustainable practices and caring for the land, but I’m curious about what it looks like on a day-to-day basis. For those of you who consider yourselves land stewards, what does your routine involve? Do you have specific practices you follow or certain challenges you've faced? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have for someone looking to dive deeper into this lifestyle. Also, how do you balance stewardship with other commitments? Looking forward to hearing what you all think!

Being a land steward really means having a personal connection to the land and making choices that support its health. My daily routine includes native plant gardening and composting kitchen scraps. It can be tough to balance with a busy schedule, but I find small moments—like taking a walk to observe nature—help keep me grounded. Sharing tips with fellow stewards has also been super motivating! Would love to hear how others manage their time and what practices they find most rewarding.
