What do you guys think about Proxy Statements when it comes to trading?

I’ve been diving into the world of proxy statements recently because I want to get a better handle on how companies communicate with shareholders and the decisions they’re making. It’s wild to see how much info is packed into those things! But I’m curious—do you all actually find them useful when you're looking into a company?

I’ve heard mixed opinions from other traders. Some say they’re a goldmine for insider insights, while others think they’re just corporate jargon that doesn’t really matter for short-term trading. How much do you weigh proxy statements in your investment decisions? Any tips on what to focus on when reading them? Would love to hear your thoughts!
