Are Dividend Aristocrat Shares Worth the Hype?

I've been looking into Dividend Aristocrat shares lately, and I’m curious about what others think. I get that these companies have a solid track record of increasing their dividends for at least 25 years, which sounds great. But I can't help but wonder: are they really a good way to build long-term wealth, or could they be overrated?

I mean, some of them have pretty low yields compared to other dividend stocks. What’s your experience been? Have any of you seen these perform well in a down market? I’m just trying to figure out if they should have a place in my portfolio or if I should focus on other opportunities. Would love to hear your thoughts!
