What do you think about investing in base metal producers right now?

I've been diving into the base metal market lately, and I'm really curious about what everyone thinks. With the ongoing shift towards renewable energy and electric vehicles, it seems like base metals could have a solid demand. But I also wonder if the current economic climate is going to impact these companies.
