What’s the Real Deal with Market Cap?

Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into trading for a little while now, and I keep hearing people talk about market cap like it's the holy grail of understanding stocks and crypto. But honestly, I’m a bit confused. Some say it’s super important, while others act like it’s just a number. How much weight do you guys put on market cap when deciding whether to buy or sell? Do you think it really reflects a company or coin’s potential in the long run, or is it just one of those metrics that can mislead? I’d love to hear your thoughts and maybe some personal experiences!

Market cap is definitely something to consider, but it shouldn't be the only metric you rely on. It can give you a quick idea of a company's size, but it doesn't tell the whole story. Look at other factors like growth potential, market trends, and financial health. I've seen smaller companies with low market caps become huge players, while high market cap stocks can be overhyped. It's all about doing your research!
