How do you decide when to order stock for your portfolio?

I've been thinking about my next moves and wanted to get some insights. I usually rely on news trends and earnings reports, but sometimes it feels like I'm just throwing darts. Do you use any specific strategies or tools when placing orders?

I've heard some guys say they only pull the trigger when they're 100% confident, while others just jump in based on gut feelings. Personally, I try to set clear targets, but even that gets tricky with market volatility. How do you balance making timely decisions without rushing into bad trades? Would love to hear some of your thoughts and maybe a few personal experiences!

I totally get where you're coming from! It can be tough to find that balance. I usually make my decisions based on a mix of news, technical analysis, and setting personal limits. I’ve found that having a plan helps me avoid those impulse trades, especially when emotions run high. It’s also important to stay flexible because the market can change so fast.
