Is a Convertible Car Worth the Hype?

I’ve been thinking about getting a convertible lately, but I’m torn. On one hand, the idea of cruising with the top down sounds amazing, especially in nice weather. But on the other hand, I’ve heard mixed reviews about practicality and the whole "safety in a rollover" thing. Do any of you own one? How do you feel about the driving experience? Is it really all that it’s cracked up to be? Also, how does it hold up in bad weather? I don’t want to make a huge investment and regret it later. Would love to hear your thoughts or any tips!
