How do you approach Strategic Alloc in your trading?
Hey everyone, I've been diving into strategic allocation lately and I'm curious about how others handle it. I feel like there's a ton of information out there, but actual experiences can be super helpful. Do you have a specific strategy you follow when it comes to allocating assets?
I'm mostly focused on balancing between stocks and bonds, but I’m tempted to explore some alternative assets too. How do you decide the percentage of your portfolio for different categories? Also, any tips on how to adjust allocations based on market conditions would be awesome. Would love to hear what’s working for you and what mistakes to avoid!

I totally get where you're coming from! I usually start with a 70/30 split between stocks and bonds, but I've been diving into REITs and commodities lately. I find that adjusting based on market trends helps, like moving more into bonds when volatility spikes. A mistake I made was sticking too rigidly to my initial plan; flexibility is key! Would love to hear more about what alternatives you’re looking into!
