Is Interest Income Really Worth It?

I've been hearing a lot about interest income lately, especially with all the discussions around saving accounts and investing in bonds. I’m curious, how many of you rely on it as part of your trading or investment strategy? I’ve always focused more on stocks and actively trading, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m missing out on something.

Are there specific types of accounts or bonds that you’ve found to be particularly effective for generating interest income? Also, how do you balance this with more volatile investments? I love the thrill of trading, but the idea of sitting back and earning a bit from interest is appealing. Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
