Is a Savings Plan Worth It for Traders?

I've been thinking about setting up a savings plan, but I’m torn. With all the ups and downs in trading, is it really a good idea? I’ve read a lot about how having a savings cushion can help during rough patches, but I worry that it might take away from my trading capital. I’m wondering how other traders balance their accounts and savings. Do you have a separate savings plan, or do you just reinvest everything? How do you stay disciplined with saving when there are so many opportunities out there? Would love to hear how you manage this!
