Is Equal Opportunity Really a Thing in Trading?

I've been thinking a lot about equal opportunity in trading lately. Do you guys believe it's something we actually have in this space? I mean, there are countless resources available to everyone, but it still feels like some traders just have a leg up because of their connections, experience, or capital.

For instance, I've seen newcomers struggle to find reliable advice while more seasoned traders seem to have their networks and mentors guiding them. I get that some people have more resources, but doesn't that kind of negate the whole "equal opportunity" vibe?

Do you think there's a way to level the playing field, or is it always going to be like this? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this!
