Is accounting really as boring as people say?

I've been diving into the world of trading, and I've come to realize how crucial accounting is, but I totally get why some people find it dull. I mean, isn’t staring at spreadsheets and balancing books kind of monotonous? But I also think there’s something interesting about understanding how the numbers connect to our investments and profits.

I’m curious to hear from others who have experience with it. Do you think accounting is essential for traders, or can you get by without deep knowledge? Has it helped you in your trading journey, or do you really just leave it to someone else? Any tips on making it a bit more engaging would be great too!
