Is Internal Audit Really Worth It for Small Businesses?
I've been thinking about whether investing in an internal audit is necessary for my small business. On one hand, I see how it could help to tighten up controls and possibly catch some issues before they become big problems. But on the other hand, it's an added expense, and I'm not sure if the benefits will outweigh the costs. Has anyone here gone down that road? Did you find it valuable, or was it just another box to check? I’d love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve seen tangible results or if it felt more like a formality. Thanks!
