Is Fair Wage Just a Dream for Traders?

I’ve been thinking a lot about what a fair wage looks like in our industry. With the market being so volatile and fees sometimes eating into profits, it feels like we’re stuck between wanting to make a living and the reality of fluctuating income. How do you guys navigate this? Do you set a personal threshold for what you consider a fair wage, or is it really about just riding the waves of the market? I know some traders who have day jobs and only trade on the side, while others are all in. I personally find it tough to balance expectations and reality. Would love to hear how you all handle this!
